MeshLab Video Tutorial

This blog has been quite lazy recently. But now great news!
We are proud to announce the birth of a dedicated YouTube channel for MeshLab tutorials.
We will upload some new tutorials in the next days. The first one is already online, and it's a basic one about navigation.

Stay in touch for news, and if you want to collaborate, you are welcome!

I'm using meshlab to generate depthmap images for 3d laser cutting and pewter casting (pretty cool IMO) but the depthmap parameters are useless when the projection is orthographic (Left or Front). Anyone got any ideas/fixes. Right now I project at a low distortion (shift-wheel) and deal with the loss of fine control, but it really shouldn't be so. I couldn't seem to report it as a bug - got a 404 from sourceforge.
